Mobilna enota prek sistema GPS satelitov sprejema podatke o svojem položaju in jih pošilja prek GSM/GPRS omrežja do strežnika Autrace, ki je v primeru najema pri nas, oz. je lahko instaliran na vašem zmoglivejšem PC računalniku in je na vaši lokaciji. Mobilna enota lahko nadzoruje delovanje različnih naprav na vozilu.
